At first, it simply picked up where NuDay left off - taking care of the few clients that NuDay still had. Very shortly, however, SC Consultants grew to become one of the larger computer consulting firms in South Carolina.
In December of 2003, Tim and Chavous realized that to continue to grow and branch out into other areas of the industry, they needed a holdings company to centralize the business functions. As such, Salter & Camp Holdings was created.
The first new venture was a partnership with Gary Kendrick to produce Carolina Research Labs. While this venture did not pan out, shortly there after, one of their clients, Fernando Coelho, approached them about another partnership - investing in Your American Backyard. Intrigued, Chavous and Tim agreed and Your American Backyard was added to the family.
Since then, we've added a hosting company (MobileHost) and continue to look for other partnership opportunities.
